Terms · plain language
The terms, plainly.

Who you’re contracting with
Resonate is operated by SR60 LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10170274), registered office 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Resonate” mean SR60 LTD. By using the site or the product you agree to these terms; if you don’t agree, don’t use them.
What Resonate is
Resonate measures how a voice sounds from the acoustics alone — pitch dynamics, resonance, pace, spectral balance and the rest of the six headline scores — and tracks that over time for account holders. It is not a medical, clinical, or diagnostic tool, and it does not identify who is speaking. Scores are estimates; content and context matter too, and we never inflate or blur them on any surface.
Accounts
You must be at least 18 to create an account. You’re responsible for the recordings and activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. One person, one account — the free in-depth report is one per person, and creating multiple accounts to get around that isn’t permitted.
The free reading and free report
Anonymous free readings are rate-limited per connection and don’t require an account. The free in-depth report is limited to one per person, claimed by email; claiming again with an email that’s already claimed doesn’t generate a second one. Details of what’s stored are on the privacy page.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the price shown at checkout (currently £9/£79, $12/$99, or €10/€89 for the monthly/annual plan depending on your billing currency) and renew automatically each period until cancelled. We never see or store your card details.
Cancelling:cancel any time from the billing portal in your dashboard. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current billing period, and there are no pro-rata or partial refunds for time unused. You keep access until the period you’ve already paid for ends.
We may change prices for future billing periods; if we do, we’ll tell you before it takes effect on your account.
Acceptable use
Use Resonate for your own voice, or for a recording you have the right to submit. Don’t use it to identify, profile, or make claims about someone else’s voice without their knowledge; don’t use the challenge feature to impersonate another person; don’t attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the service; don’t use it for anything unlawful. We can suspend or close an account that breaches this.
Your recordings, our measurement
Recordings you submit while signed in are yours — you can play them back and delete them at any time, which deletes the audio and its analysis. The scoring method, thresholds and software behind Resonate are ours; using the product doesn’t give you rights to them. Measured-voice editorial pages (the “famous voices” library) are factual commentary on publicly available recordings, not an endorsement by or of anyone featured.
Who else is involved
Authentication runs on Clerk, payments on Stripe, hosting and the database on Convex, and voice analysis on Modal. Paid transcription uses OpenAI’s Whisper API and coaching uses Anthropic’s Claude. Free report and account emails are sent via Resend. Each only processes what its job requires.
No guarantees
Resonate is provided “as is.” We work to keep scoring accurate and the service available, but we don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular score, insight, or coaching output is correct for your situation. Nothing here is professional (medical, legal, or clinical) advice.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that can’t lawfully be excluded or limited — for example, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Subject to that, our total liability to you arising out of your use of Resonate is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss (like lost profits or lost opportunities).
Ending this agreement
You can stop using Resonate and delete your account at any time from the dashboard, which deletes your recordings and analyses. We can suspend or end an account for breach of these terms, or on reasonable notice for any other reason; where we do the latter without cause, we’ll refund any unused portion of a prepaid annual plan.
Changes to these terms
If we make a material change, we’ll post the update here with a new “last updated” date and, where you have an account, email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Resonate after that point means you accept the change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of Resonate.
